Evgeny Antipov

Managing Director

Evgeny is the Managing Director of Advance Capital, with focus on M&A transactions in FMCG & retail, e-com, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Evgeny's track record includes more than 40 transactions with a total value of more than $5 billion. Evgeny has the highest reputation in the market in terms of achieving the best possible transaction conditions for his Clients. Evgeny has an extensive personal network at the level of decision makers, both among strategic and financial investors, which allows him and his team to create a competitive process for his Clients, even in turbulent times.

Prior to Advance Capital, he worked as a Vice President at Penta Investments, a Central European private equity firm with over 2 bln € AUM, where he focused on investments in mid-cap private companies. Prior to Penta, Evgeny worked as a Director on a number of projects at En+ Group, where he was responsible for executing deals in natural resources sector. His previous experience includes working for Renaissance Capital, Trust bank, and Dresdner Kleinwort in New York.

Evgeny graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, and holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business in the United States.

Karen Dashyan

Managing Director

Karen is one of the founders of Advance Capital. At Advance Capital he is responsible for business development as well as for deal origination in oil & gas and infrastructure sectors. During 2009-2011 he was the Board member (representing Gazprom Neft) of NGK Slavneft and affiliated companies. From 2004 to the end of 2007 he worked as a Deputy Head of the Strategy and M&A department at Renova Group of Companies. Prior to Renova, Karen held managerial positions within Strategic M&A and Strategy departments at Yukos and RSK MiG (Russian Aircraft Corporation).

Alexey Pigarev

Executive Director

Alexey joined Advance Capital in 2018 and has over 18 years of investment banking experience. He focuses on M&A deals in natural resources (O&G, M&M, Power and Chemicals) where he has an exceptionally strong experience.

Before joining Advance Capital, Alexey served as Head of M&A and Senior Managing Director at VEB.

Prior to that, Alexey worked at Deutsche Bank for over 10 years including as Head of O&G, OFS and Chemicals for several years.

While at Deutsche Bank, Alexey participated in over 30 M&A deals in a wide range of industries worth over US$100bn.

Notable transactions include:

  US$1.1bn sale of 50% stake in CIR by Lukoil to Sinopec

  US$5.8bn acquisition of Arcticgas and 20% stake in Gazprom Neft by Eni-Enel consortium

  US$332m sale of oilfield service business of Gazprom Neft

  US$922m asset swap between Sibir Energy and Central Fuel Company

  US$13bn acquisition of 72.7% stake in Sibneft by Gazprom

  US$317m IPO of Raspadskaya Coal Company

Alexey graduated from the State University of Management and holds a PhD in Economics.

Uryash

Executive Director

Maxim joined Advance Capital in 2011. He focuses on M&A deals in oil & gas and metals & mining. He has extended experience of M&A transactions across a number of sectors, including oil&gas, telecommunications, commercial real estate, and insurance. Prior to joining Advance Capital, he worked for three years at Coalco group of companies as the Head of M&A department and the Chairman of the board of directors of a group company involved in an oil exploration project in Kazakhstan. From 2005 through 2007 he was part of the M&A department at Renova group, where he participated in M&A transactions involving both private and public companies in Russia and abroad. Maxim graduated from Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), and is a CFA charterholder.

Artur Shubaev

Executive Director

Artur joined Advance Capital in 2015. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions as well as financing transactions in the technology, consumer, healthcare, and oil & gas sectors.

Prior to joining Advance Capital team, Artur worked at VTB Capital within its Global Equity department.

Artur graduated from Higher School of Economics (faculty of world economy and international affairs & faculty of economic sciences). He is a CFA Level III candidate.
