Advance Capital is pleased to announce the sale of a major telecommunications operator, Strela Telecom. The sellers were entities affiliated with the private equity fund Elbrus Capital and minority investors, while the buyer was ER-Telecom Holding.

Strela Telecom provides broadband internet access and cable television services in 11 cities across Siberia, the Far East, and the Volga region. The company is a market leader in most of its regions of presence, with a customer base of approximately 170 thousand broadband subscribers.

As a result of the deal, ER-Telecom Holding significantly strengthened its positions in the broadband and pay-TV markets in the eastern part of Russia.

Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Strela Telecom.

The deal value is not disclosed.
