Advance Capital is pleased to announce the sale of a 100% stake in SeverTransCom, one of the leading fixed-line and broadband operators in Yaroslavl operating under the Lank Telecom brand, to VimpelCom.

The deal demonstrates that M&A activity in the Russian telecommunications sector, which increased significantly in the second half of 2010, continues to remain at a high level.

Advance Capital acted as a financial advisor to SeverTransCom.

The deal value is USD11.6 million.
